Titanium Screw Countersunk Head Torx M6

Titanium screw countersunk head torx (also known as titanium alloy Torx countersunk screws or hexagonal countersunk titanium screws) are precision machine screws made primarily from titanium alloy (Gr2/Gr5) as the base material, featuring a 90° conical countersunk head and a 6-point star-shaped Torx drive. Their core features are a three-in-one combination of flush-mounted countersunk heads, high-torque anti-slip Torx design, and the lightweight, corrosion-resistant properties of titanium alloy.

Three-part construction: 90° countersunk head (standard 90° cone angle; flush with the workpiece surface or slightly recessed after installation) + shank (metric coarse or fine thread, 6g precision) + internal star-shaped slot (ISO 10664 standard star-shaped slot, T5–T50 sizes).

1. Gr2, Industrial-grade pure titanium: Purity ≥99.5%, density 4.51 g/cm³, tensile strength 400–550 MPa. It offers exceptional corrosion resistance, is non-magnetic, biocompatible, and easy to machine, making it suitable for low-load, highly corrosive environments and medical applications.
2. Ti-6Al-4V, Gr5, α+β titanium alloy, most commonly used: Contains 6% Al and 4% V; tensile strength 860–950 MPa (approximately equivalent to 10.9-grade steel); specific strength (strength/density) is twice that of steel; High strength, lightweight, fatigue-resistant, and moderately corrosion-resistant, covering all applications in aerospace, automotive, and high-end equipment.
3. Others: Grade 1 (pure titanium, softer), Ti-6.5Al-1Mo-1V-2Zr (high-temperature, high-strength), Ti-6Al-4V ELI (medical-grade, low-porosity, ASTM F136).

• Nominal diameter: M1.6, M2, M2.5, M3, M4, M5, M6, M8, M10 (precision sizes down to M1.2, large sizes up to M16).
• Length: 3–100 mm (primarily full-threaded, half-threaded available), countersink diameter = 1.5 × nominal diameter (e.g., M6 countersink φ9.8), countersink angle strictly 90° (ensuring flush mounting).
• Thread precision: 6g (general purpose); 4g and 6g high precision are commonly used in aerospace and medical applications; Pitch: Coarse thread standard (M3×0.5, M4×0.7, M6×1.0).

     Surface Finishes

• Natural Finish (Sandblasted / Polished): Retains the natural color of titanium; corrosion-resistant; matte or glossy
• Anodizing: Colored (Black / Blue / Gold / Gray); enhances wear resistance, provides insulation, and serves as identification; thickness: 5–20 μm

High torque, anti-slip / anti-stripping: The 6-point star shape provides 50% more contact area than a hex socket, resulting in a 30% increase in torque transmission efficiency and a higher torsional limit. It is less likely to strip the slot and does not damage the wrench, making it suitable for automated tightening and high-preload applications.
2. Anti-loosening and vibration resistance: The star-shaped engagement is tighter, maintaining over 90% of preload force in vibrating environments and reducing the risk of loosening.
3. Theft-proof / tamper-proof: Can only be operated with a dedicated Torx wrench (T-shaped socket), and cannot be removed with a standard hex wrench; suitable for outdoor, public equipment, and high-end products.
