Composition system: Ti-6Al-4V (α+β duplex titanium alloy), aluminum (5.5%-6.75%), vanadium (3.5%-4.5%)
Execution standard
International standards: ASTM B348 (bars), AMS 4911 (Aerospace forgings)
2. Key performance indicators
The processing significance of typical parameters of performance categories:
1) High-strength structural components with tensile strength of 895-930 MPa (annealed state) require optimized cutting parameters
2) The elastic modulus is 110 GPa. It is prone to vibration during processing, so the rigidity of the fixture needs to be enhanced
3) The thermal conductivity is 6.7 W/(m·K) at 20℃. It has poor heat dissipation and requires forced cooling to avoid thermal damage
4) When choosing cutting tools with a hardness of HRC 32-36 (aged state), both wear resistance and toughness should be taken into account

B. Mirror polishing of artificial joint prostheses for medical devices (Ra≤0.1μm)

D. Large-diameter thread processing for Marine engineering deep-sea submersible pressure-resistant shells (M100×4, precision 6H)
E. Micro-hole processing of 3C electronic mobile phone frames (hole diameter Φ0.3mm, depth-to-diameter ratio 5:1)
Heat treatment process:
Stress relief annealing: 700-800℃×1-2h/ air cooling (eliminating 90% residual stress)
Solution aging
Solution: 950℃×1 hour/water quenching
Aging: 540℃×4 hours/air cooling (strength increased to 1100MPa)
