Pure Titanium Anode Basket

Pure titanium anode baskets are made from Grade 2 pure titanium with a purity of 99.7%, offering excellent corrosion resistance and suitability for holding anode materials in various electroplating tanks. Precise welding technology ensures strong, durable seams. Custom-made titanium mesh baskets for electroplating are available in various sizes and specifications. Anti-theft designs can be incorporated at the opening of the basket upon request.

Important notes for using the titanium basket: The top of the basket should be slightly above the liquid level to prevent anode sludge from flowing out. The bottom of the basket should be 100-150mm above the workpiece to avoid excessive current concentration and potential scorching. The titanium basket must be in close contact with the anode; otherwise, the anode potential on the basket will rise sharply, causing oxygen and chlorine evolution on the surface, leading to basket damage and oxidation of additives.

5. The advantages of titanium-coated copper hooks: They maintain the original electrical conductivity of copper, while the titanium coating protects the copper from corrosion and significantly reduces contamination during electroplating and electrolysis processes.

1. The titanium anode bracket and the electrode should not have flat or circular contact surfaces; this type of contact easily leads to poor contact and localized corrosion of the electrode.

2. The top of the titanium anode bracket should be slightly above the liquid level to prevent anode sludge from overflowing.

3. The bottom of the titanium anode bracket should be 100-150mm above the workpiece to avoid excessive current concentration at the bottom of the workpiece, which could cause burning.

4. The titanium anode bracket should be in close contact with the anode; otherwise, the anode potential on the titanium bracket will rise sharply, causing oxygen and chlorine evolution reactions on the titanium surface, leading to damage to the titanium and oxidation of additives.

5. To prevent burrs on the plating surface, an anode bag should be used to cover the titanium anode bracket. Since the bag is usually used continuously without removal, a "double-layer bag" is recommended.

6. The anode bag should tightly cover the top of the titanium anode bracket, and a few centimeters of space should be left at the bottom of the bag to store any anode sludge that may accumulate.

3. Long service life:The anode has a long service life, excellent corrosion resistance, and the titanium substrate can be reused. It is easy to fabricate and can be made with high precision.
4. Low energy consumption: The low operating voltage results in reduced energy consumption, with a decrease of 10-20% in direct current consumption. High current density, low overpotential, and high electrode catalytic activity effectively improve production efficiency.
