In order to expand the production capacity of titanium screw processing, increase varieties and specifications, and form a complete titanium screw processing system, it is necessary to adopt new technologies, new processes, and new equipment to transform the current titanium screw processing plants in response to the problems existing in them.
Although titanium is often called the developing "third metal," that's merely a prediction. Currently, titanium is still a new metal, not yet a standard industrial metal. According to 1981 statistics, titanium sales ranked only 15th among metals. The main factor hindering the development of the titanium industry is its high cost, which hinders its application. Some point out that significant cost reductions at every step, from sponge production to final titanium products, are fundamental to expanding its application and a prerequisite for titanium to become a major industrial metal. Therefore, reducing the cost of titanium screw products is a common task for titanium smelting and processing.
The long-term goal is to develop new processes in the field of titanium smelting with low energy consumption, simple processes and continuous production. For example, the process of electrolytic production of metallic titanium that has been studied for many years can completely replace the existing magnesium reduction process, and achieve large-scale and continuous processing in the field, so as to significantly reduce the cost of titanium materials.
This year, the company aims to rapidly implement artificial intelligence transformation, upgrade equipment, and optimize tooling. A new production line will be established. Building on existing research and development, we will continue to reform inefficient processes, aiming to increase production efficiency by another 6-8% from current levels. We will also develop low-cost production methods. The existing wire cutting process in the blanking process will be replaced with a specialized titanium bar blanking machine to improve efficiency. The hot stamping process will be upgraded with intelligent temperature control, and the assembly line renovation will be completed by the end of June this year. Intelligent recycling equipment will be installed for machined titanium boots to reduce production waste. The R&D and production departments will work closely together to develop new processes and reduce manufacturing costs through tooling. This will help our titanium screws gain a larger market share.
