Pure Nickel Bullion Bars

Pure Nickel bullion bars are a common form of processed nickel metal. They take the shape of regular cubes or rectangular prisms and are produced from high-purity nickel feedstock through processes such as smelting, casting, and cutting. They serve as an important carrier for nickel in industrial applications. It is a high-purity (typically 99.95%–99.9999%) silvery-white metal with excellent corrosion resistance, electrical and thermal conductivity, and ductility. It is widely used in the manufacture of stainless steel, as well as in batteries, chemical catalysis, and the electronics industry.

1. Purity: Industrial-grade products typically range from 99.5% to 99.9%, while high-purity grades can reach 99.99% or higher. Impurity levels (such as iron, copper, and sulfur) are strictly controlled within the range of 0.01% to 0.5%.

2. Dimensions:

Standard sizes include 50mm × 50mm × 50mm and 100mm × 100mm × 100mm, among others. Custom sizes are available upon request, with tolerances generally controlled within ±0.5mm.

Cube-shaped: 10×10×10 mm, 20×20×20 mm, etc.

Block/slab-shaped: 20–50 mm thick, or custom sizes available (e.g., 4×4-inch blocks, 100×100 mm blocks)

3. Weight: Individual pieces typically weigh 1kg–10kg, with some custom models reaching up to 50kg. Precise weighing ensures batch weight deviation is ≤0.1%.

4. Surface Treatment: The natural surface exhibits a silvery-white metallic luster. Depending on requirements, it can undergo passivation (to form a protective film) or bright polishing, with a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 0.8 μm.

2. Chemical Properties

Corrosion Resistance: Resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, with particularly outstanding performance in alkaline environments

Stability: Resistant to oxidation at room temperature; forms a protective oxide film at high temperatures

1. Metallurgical Industry: As a key raw material for stainless steel (304, 316, and other series), high-temperature alloys, and nickel-based alloys, approximately 8%–12% nickel is required per ton of stainless steel.

2. Battery Manufacturing: Used as electrode material in nickel-metal hydride and nickel-cadmium batteries; high-purity nickel ingots can improve battery cycle life and charge/discharge efficiency.

3. Electroplating Industry: Serves as the anode material for nickel electroplating, providing a stable source of nickel ions to ensure coating uniformity and adhesion.

4. Chemical Industry: Used in the manufacture of catalysts (such as hydrogenation catalysts) and corrosion-resistant equipment components, with widespread application in the petrochemical and synthetic fiber industries.

5. Electronics Industry: Used in conductive components for precision electronic devices and electromagnetic shielding materials, requiring a purity of ≥99.99%.
