Ti-6Al-7Nb titanium alloy bar and rod are primarily used for surgical and medical implants, due to their excellent biocompatibility and mechanical properties. They are a safe and promising alternative to Ti-6Al-4V (Grade 5) for human implantation applications.

C. Thermal conductivity 16.4 W/(m·K); Intensive cooling is required during processing to prevent overheating
D. Melting point 1660°C; Suitable for high-temperature equipment

The use of non-toxic niobium (Nb) to replace vanadium (V) in the traditional Ti-6Al-4V alloy significantly improves biocompatibility and reduces the risk of rejection reactions in the human body.
Mechanical Properties: Strength is comparable to Ti-6Al-4V (tensile strength ≥980 MPa), while possessing a lower elastic modulus (approximately 108-115 GPa), more closely resembling human bone (12-25 GPa), effectively reducing stress shielding effects.
