Introduction of M4 titanium bolts

 

M4 titanium bolts are fasteners manufactured through precision machining using high-quality titanium alloys such as Gr1, Gr2, and Gr5, with a nominal thread diameter of 4 millimeters. Thanks to the inherent advantages of titanium alloy, these screws significantly outperform traditional steel screws in terms of lightweight design, corrosion resistance, and non-magnetic properties. The thread meets precision standards, ensuring smooth engagement and a secure fit. Compatible with standard M4 nuts and through holes, offering high versatility.

Standards Compliance: Complies with major standards including German DIN, International Standard (ISO), and Japanese JIS. Common standard models include DIN 912 (hex socket head cap), DIN 7991 (countersunk). Dimensions are precise, ensuring good interchangeability; these screws can directly replace equivalent steel or stainless steel screws.

Material Classification:

Two main material options are available to suit different operating conditions:

- GR2 Industrial Pure Titanium: High purity, excellent ductility, good toughness, outstanding corrosion resistance, and superior machinability. Suitable for applications requiring high rust and corrosion resistance with moderate load-bearing demands.

- GR5 (Ti-6Al-4V) aerospace-grade titanium alloy: A high-strength titanium alloy with strength far exceeding that of pure titanium; tensile strength can reach over 895 MPa. Combining lightweight properties with high strength, it is suitable for heavy-duty, high-load, and precision load-bearing applications.

Length Range:

Standard stock lengths: 4mm, 5mm, 6mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, 25mm, 30mm. Custom lengths are available upon request.

Common Head Styles:

- Hex Socket Cylinder Head: Distributes force evenly, provides high torque, and offers easy installation. This is a universal style for industrial, equipment, and modification applications, compliant with the DIN 912 standard.

- Cross-recessed countersunk/flat head: Flush with the workpiece surface after installation, providing a neat, space-saving appearance; suitable for securing panels and enclosures.

- Pan head/half-round head: Rounded head with a large contact area that minimizes damage to the workpiece; suitable for securing thin sheets and plastic parts.

- Hex head/flange face: Large contact area, slip-resistant and anti-loosening, suitable for heavy-duty fastening and vibration-prone environments.
