Gr7 titanium alloy (Ti-0.2Pd), a palladium-enhanced industrial pure titanium, has become a core material for equipment in extreme environments with its ultra-low corrosion rate of 0.001mm/a and tolerance to 30% sulfuric acid. Its unique palladium self-repairing passivation film mechanism (the Pd-enriched layer repairs defects) enables it to outperform Hastelloy in deep-sea, nuclear power, and strong acid environments, at only one-third the cost.

 

Gr7 titanium forged ring, is an industrially pure titanium + palladium-reinforced alloy with the following basic components:

Titanium (Ti): ≥99% (matrix, providing a lightweight and corrosion-resistant framework)

Palladium (Pd): 0.12%-0.25% (core strengthening element, enhancing the self-healing ability of the passive film)

Impurity control: O ≤ 0.15%, Fe ≤ 0.30%, H ≤ 0.015% (strictly controlling brittle phases)

1. Strength and plasticity

Gr7 titanium alloy exhibits excellent fatigue resistance under alternating loads, with a fatigue limit typically exceeding 500 MPa. This makes it an ideal choice for high-performance mechanical components.
