On May 20th, it was learned from the organizing committee of the 2025 Baoji Titanium Valley International Titanium Industry Expo that in 2024, the output of titanium materials in the city's titanium and titanium alloy industry chain will reach 75,000 tons, with a total output value of approximately 56 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year growth of about 10%.
Up to now, there are 185 large-scale titanium enterprises in the city, forming a complete industrial chain covering all links from sponge titanium to titanium material processing, presenting a diversified development pattern of each demonstrating its own strengths and achieving common prosperity.
In recent years, our city has been striving to build "World Titanium Capital and China Titanium Valley" and establish an international first-class titanium industrial cluster. We have precisely issued the "Three-Year Action Plan for Upgrading the Titanium and New Materials Industry Chain in Baoji City (2023-2025)" in response to the development of the industry. We have deeply implemented the "six major projects", namely, the expansion of leading enterprises, the agglomeration of industrial clusters, the extension, supplementation and strengthening of industrial chains, the improvement of innovation capabilities, the introduction and cultivation of talents, and the optimization of service systems. As a result, the high-level development of the titanium industry foundation and the modernization of the industrial chain have been comprehensively enhanced.
At present, our city has established a complete industrial chain from "sponge titanium - titanium ingots - titanium and titanium alloy processed materials - titanium composite materials - titanium deep-processed products", capable of producing over 100 grades, more than 300 varieties and over 5,000 specifications of titanium and titanium alloy processed materials, which are exported to over 70 countries and regions.
